AWRAQ Investments Research Division will be the company's inquisitive eye, its independent think tank and the place where insight into economic, financial and capital market issues get formalized. While our research coverage is comprehensive, it is different than the majority of other firms, where no attempt is made to provide research on all or most of the companies within a given industry in a given country. Instead, the role of an analyst at AWRAQ Investments is to select and follow those companies that have above-average growth prospects and above-average quality--the thesis being that investing in these companies will generate above-average returns over the long term.

We use a number of factors in selecting a coverage universe of high-quality companies with good growth prospects. These include the company's product line, level of service and, most important, the company's management. In terms of growth, analysts look for companies that can sustain good annual earnings gains over the long term. The research universe is divided among different types of companies. In addition, the universe is well diversified geographically, with the companies based throughout Jordan and the MENA region.
